The new edition of Boston Rocks and this accompanying web site were completed at the end of 2002. All information was developed with the assistance of local climbers whenever possible; however, some areas were relatively unknown or newly discovered at the time of publication, so there were no known “locals.” One established area, part of the Quincy Quarries, was still being developed in late 2002 and new route information will develop over time. Perhaps whole new areas will be discovered or opened for public access.
